The first half of the year has been productive at the Freshwater Research Centre. Our researchers have been hard at work combating local fish extinctions, empowering authorities to implement freshwater ecosystem compliance for better water resource protection for all, and left our mark through impactful science communications to international audiences. We’ve even dipped our toes into the terrestrial and marine space by developing a biodiversity information system for South African National Parks.
